SSC MTS Salary: Pay Scale

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff in Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20210) + Grade Pay Rs 1800, (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC: Pay Level in Pay Matrix – Level-1), a General Central Service Group „C‟ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ Union Territories.

SSC MTS 2022 Recruitment:

SSC or Staff Selection Commission conducts Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) every year in 3 different stages:

Selection Process Paper-1 (Objective)
Paper-2 (Descriptive Test)
Paper-3 (Skill Test)

It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify both these stages of examination in order to make it to the merit list prepared by SSC prepared at the end.
SSC MTS 2021 Exam Pattern
The examination of SSC MTS 2021 will be conducted in 3 different levels: Paer-1, Paper-2 (Descriptive Test) & Paper-3 (Skill Test). Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies. Paper-III is a skill test that needs to be taken as per candidate’s convenience.

the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN: Followings are the PET/
PST standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN:

  • Walking 1600 meters in 15
    minutes.
  • Cycling 8 Kms. in 30
    minutes

Female

  • 1 Km in 20
    minutes
  • 3 Kms. in 25
    minutes
    14.8.2 Cycling is not applicable for the post of Havaldar in DGPM,
    CBIC.

SSC MTS 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: A candidate is required to be

  • A citizen of India
  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan Refugee
  • Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afganistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

Age Limit (as on January 01, 2022) : –

  • The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various
    User Departments are:
    18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1997 and not
    later than 01-01-2004) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN
    (Department of Revenue).
  •  18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1995 and not
    later than 01-01-2004) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of
    Revenue) and few posts of MTS.

Apart from the pre mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualification: –

A candidate is required to pass Matriculation or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board or University or Institute.

SSC MTS 2021 Exam Centre

SSC conducts SSC MTS Exam every year at various centres all across the country.Candidates are given the option to select the centre of their choice while filling in the application form. The final allotment of the centre by SSC is done based on the choice of the candidate. If in any case there is unavailability of seat in the selected Centre, SSC will change the location as per the availability. Candidates do not hold the authority to question SSC for the same.

SSC MTS Qualifying Marks

Qualifying marks in Paper-II will be 40% (35% for all reserved category candidates)

SSC MTS Admit Card 2021

The admit card of the candidates whose application accepted will be uploaded on the  Regional/ Sub-Regional websites of SSC. The candidates can download SSC MTS Paper 1 Admit Card and other exam about two weeks before the date of examination using their details. They should carry their admit card along with two passport size recent colour photographs, Original valid Photo-ID proof at the centre

SSC MTS Cut-Off 2021:-

There will be separate category-wise, State/ UT-wise cut-offs in Paper-I. As the vacancies for MTS are in two age groups i.e. (i) 18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years, the Commission may fix separate age group-wise, category-wise and State/ UT-wise cut- offs in Paper-I.

SSC MTS Document Verification and Final Result 2022:-

Based on the performance in Paper-I and scoring the cut-off marks in Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in the Document Verification to check their eligibility as per the information given by them in the online Application Form All the candidates qualified for Document Verification are required to appear for Document Verification along with the original documents.
The final selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Paper 1.

5.5.After providing all the details, now upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature.
6.The last step is fee submission. Submit the fee by credit/ debit card or e-Challan.
7.After submitting the fee, a confirmation mail/msg will be sent
